TRICARE OVERSEAS PRIME for Active Duty Members and Active Duty Family Members: 100% coverage
ㆍFor emergency case, no referral from MTF is necessary. ㆍFor non-emergency case, a referral from MTF is necessary for an authorization.
TRICARE STANDARD for Retirees and Active Duty Members/Family Members
ㆍNo referral/authorization is necessary. ㆍPatient is responsible for up to $150 annual deductible and 20%(AD/ADFM) or 25%(Retiree) co-insurance at the time of service.
ㆍDirect billing service available after checking eligibility with member ID number and date of birth. ㆍPatient is responsible for their deductible and co-insurance amount at the time of the service (It varies with different policy numbers). ㆍWe contact Cigna directly for guarantee of payment in case of inpatient service.
Foreign Service Benefits Plan (FSBP)
ㆍDirect billing service is available after checking eligibility with member ID number and date of birth. ㆍPatient is responsible for up to $250 annual deductible and 10% co-insurance at the time of service. Patient needs to provide us with proof in case partial or full deductible was paid at the other hospital for the same year.
ㆍDirect billing service is available for inpatient services after getting guarantee of payment from Aetna. For outpatient service, patient has to contact Aetna for guarantee of payment prior to coming to hospital for direct billing service. ㆍPatient is responsible for his/her deductible and co-insurance amount as indicated on the guarantee of payment.
BLUE CROSS/BLUE SHIELD and Other Foreign Insurance
ㆍPatient has to pay out of pocket at the time of service and claim to their insurance with English itemized bill provided by our hospital. ㆍIn case of inpatient service, direct billing service is available once guarantee of payment form insurance company is obtained prior to discharge.
